Disney Tsum Tsum

Tsum Tsum Plush Collections Coming Soon

Once again it’s time to pull out those wallets and ready your credit cards, because there’s a lot of Tsum Tsums headed our way in the coming months – for everyone around the globe!

We’ll start here in the US. Last week on Tsum Tusm Tuesday, Disney Store announced the mid-month collection releasing in it’s stores would be a 5-piece Star Wars: Death Star Collection, which includes a Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine! Our little villain hearts are very excited about him! The set will be “armed and operational” in stores and online on Tuesday, February 21 in the US, UK, and Europe.

All of you Minnie Mouse collectors will be excited most for the releases announced by Disney Store Japan. Upcoming releases there include several classic Mickey and Minnie Shorts and Movies sets, new Minnie Mouse individual Tsum Tsums, a “Frozen” trolls scene boxed set, and the Moana set.

The classic Minnie and Mickey sets feature a mini-size Minnie with a mame-size Mickey (or Figaro in one instance) stacked on top. The sets feature scenes from “Hawaiian Holiday” (1937), “Brave Little Tailor” (1938), “The Little Whirlwind” (1941), “Bath Day” (1946), and “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” (1983). These sets will be released in Japan on February 26.

Also releasing on February 26 in Japan are three new mini Minnie Mouse plush, each a different version of her as she has appeared through the years since her debut along side Mickey in “Steamboat Willie” in 1928. Since we only have front views of her, we aren’t sure exactly which years these three represent, but we do know they’ll be popular!

The “Frozen” boxed set includes Anna and Kristoff dressed in their “troll wedding” outfits along with three of the “love expert” trolls – Rock, Bulda, and Flint. The trolls are ADORABLE and will definitely be finding a way to join our collection once they are released on March 4.

Lastly in Japan is the Moana release (notably absent Tamatoa the crab and the sea turtle from the opening scene), hitting stores on March 4.

Finally, we head over to the UK. While information is scarce on this, there are rumors from a toy fair of the following mini tsum tsum collections being released this year at Clinton’s stores. Many have already been released in the US, but others might give us a hint as to what is coming in the US from Disney themselves later in 2017!

  • February: The Lion Guard (a Disney Junior television program featuring Simba’s second born, a son, Kion, and his friends), Marvel, Beauty and the Beast
  • March: Finding Nemo
  • April: The Aristocats, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace
  • May: Star Wars: Tattoine, Peter Pan
  • June: Cars (Likely to coincide with the release of the third film in this Pixar franchise)
  • July: Spiderman 2, Pixar, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith

Which tsum tsums will you be adding to your collection?
